Approval Rules Barclay 6/24
One Sentence Summary
Barclay will deny you for a seventh card if you have opened six new personal cards in the past 24 months.
Deep Dive into the Barclay 6/24 Rule
This is like Chase’s 5/24 rule except with an extra card. Barclay will not approve a new personal card if you have opened six new personal cards from any bank in the previous 24 months. This does not appear to be consistently enforced like Chase’s 5/24 rule, but there are plenty of reports from people in the hobby who have been denied because of having opened too many cards in the previous two years.
