Targeted Amex Offer for Hyatt Resorts: Get $100 Back After Spending $500+

Amex is targeting some cardholders with a $100 statement credit after spending $500 or more at participating Hyatt resorts in the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America through November 15, 2026. You can view participating resorts here, and reservations must be booked directly through Hyatt. Hyatt and Aeroplan Launch New Partnership

Two of the most popular loyalty programs have launched a new partnership. World of Hyatt and Air Canada's Aeroplan are now partners, offering reciprocal status challenges, new earning and redemption options, and a handful of other benefits. The headline might sound exciting, but once you dig into the details, most of the new redemption options offer poor value, including transferring points between the two programs at a 2:1 ratio or redeeming points for free night certificates or flight rewards. The most useful benefit available today is a C$20 annual Air Canada flight credit for Hyatt elite members who link their accounts. Another highlight is that Aeroplan elite members can fast-track to Hyatt Globalist after earning 20 elite nights in 90 days, compared to the usual requirement of 60 elite nights in a calendar year. Later this year, Hyatt elite members will also be able to complete an Aeroplan status challenge, so we're hopeful that provides another worthwhile opportunity. If you have Hyatt elite status, it's worth linking your accounts now and keeping an eye out for the Aeroplan challenge when it launches.
