Card Benefits
Bottom Line
This card was designed with two major concepts in mind. One, the automatic rewards category. And two, flexible cash back or points. If you're a business owner and a big spender in a unique category, this card might have some appeal to you. The 48 different categories include everything from insurance providers to uniforms to healthcare. The points can be pooled to the Central Bill account, and then redeemed for gift cards, travel, cash back and merchandise rewards. If you are a business and have an account with US bank, this card is worth a good long look with the 75,000 point bonus.
Why You Might Want This Card
The special offer of 75,00 points is relatively new. You have 4 months to spend the hefty $7500 minimum. You need to be a US bank member to be approved in all likelihood.
Beyond that, the big draw is the 2x bonus points earned in the top 2 categories in which you spend the most. The unique thing about this card is that the bank determines what your money was spent on -- then automatically determines your top 2 spending categories out of their list of 48 different categories. That means you can just spend away on whatever you need for your business, and the card will work behind the scenes making sure that you're getting the absolute most points.
What could make this card attractive on a niche basis are the unique categories that no other card offers, such as Healthcare providers, Insurance Providers, Membership Organizations, Wholesale Goods, etc. 2x cash back on a major supplier could be worth an extra $1,000 cash-back. You can view the categories here.

About US Bank Flex Perks
Flex Perks offer a diverse reward system. They can be redeemed towards travel, merchandise rewards, gift cards, statement credit and uniquely real-time mobile rewards after setting up and activating your account. The best redemption is through the U.S. Bank portal, specifically purchasing airline tickets. Revisit your love for Orbitz when collecting these points because going through U.S. Banks online store, clicking the Orbitz portal and booking new flights with your Flex Points will give you some outstanding value -- possibly worth more than you’ve ever seen. Another good redemption option -- both easy and fast -- is booking directly with the merchants and then getting compensated with a statement credit. That way you can earn points on your upfront purchase.
Earning is easy with your sign-up bonus and 2 points per $1 spent on most cell phone service providers, charitable donations and one of these 3 alternating categories: gas, groceries or airline tickets. If you hate keeping track of which card to whip out while making what purchase, this one will do the math for you and just apply the 2 points toward whichever category you spent the most money on during the last billing cycle.
