Amex Gold Adds $120 Dining Credit

In addition to the 4X return on dining, Amex personal Gold card now offers $10 a month statement credit for Uber Eats. That's a free, or at least an inexpensive meal each month. Credits will be automatically applied to your statement for up to $10 monthly any of the following purchases: Grubhub, Seamless, Cheesecake Factory, Ruth's Chris, and Boxed.

Marriot Extends Expiration Dates

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Marriott has extended the expiration dates on active Award Night Certificates and on expiring points until Aug. 1, 2021

JetBlue Cards Offer Highest Bonus Ever

Both the jetBlue Business and Plus cards are now offering 100,000 point bonuses. The minimum spend is split to 50K for $1,000 in the first 90 days, then an additional 50K for $6,000 total in the first 12 months. It is unclear if this is a permanent offer, but since it is approximately double the normal offers, our guess is it is available for a limited time.

Delta Sky Miles Devalued on Partner Flights

The points price of most Delta partner flights just went up 30-40%. In other words, the value of a Delta point just dropped from 1.3 cents each to 1 cent each for flights fulfilled by Sky Miles parters. An average one way coach flight to Europe went from 25,000 to 35,000. The same ticket in business class ticket went from 80,000 to 95,000 points. We've dropped the overall valuation of Delta Miles from 1.3 to 1.2 cents to account for this.

Chase Replaces Freedom with Freedom Flex

Other than the name and the design, the card is nearly identical as a Mastercard rather than a Visa. One added bonus is 5% back in the first 12 months on Grocery Store purchases. This is considered a different product than the (no longer offered) legacy Freedom however, so you can qualify for a new 20,000 point bonus
