Wells Fargo is on the lower tier of banks in this hobby. So it's more for those who are farther along in the hobby or for those looking for maximum flexibility on booking airfare.

When you are farther along, you'll probably want a combination of the Visa Signature Card (making points worth 1.5 cents, similar to the Chase Reserve) and the Propel Card, which sometimes has sign-up bonuses as high as 40,000 points. Relatively low bonuses for two cards, but the Visa Signature card has the highest everyday spend return on Gas, Groceries, and Drug Stores at 7.5%.
