Amazon Business Card Moving from Amex to U.S. Bank

Amazon is moving its Amazon Business and Amazon Business Prime cards from American Express to U.S. Bank starting August 14, 2026. Existing cardholders have started receiving new cards from U.S. Bank, which run on the Mastercard network. You can no longer apply for the Amex versions of these cards. Most benefits will remain unchanged, including 5% back at Amazon for Prime members and 3% for those without Prime. The only minor change is to the annual spending cap. The higher earning rate will increase from $120,000 to $150,000. New applications for the U.S. Bank version are expected to return soon.

Targeted Bank of America Unlimited Cash Rewards Offer: Earn 3% Everywhere

Bank of America is sending targeted mailers for the Unlimited Cash Rewards card offering 3% cash back on all purchases during the first year. The standard card earns 1.5% back and currently offers a $250 welcome bonus, while this targeted version does not include that bonus. You would need to spend about $16,667 during the first year for the additional 1.5% cash back to equal the missing $250 bonus. While 3% everywhere is a strong earning rate, this card still ranks relatively low among our rewards card recommendations.

$30 Back After Spending $150 with Turo Through Amex, Citi, and Chase

Amex, Citi, and Chase are all targeting some cardholders with offers for $30 back after spending $150 or more with Turo. Turo operates more like a peer-to-peer car-sharing service than a traditional rental car company, so standard credit card rental car insurance usually will not apply. The Chase offer expires August 31, 2026, Citi’s expires September 30, and Amex’s expires December 31. If you have an eligible American Airlines card with a separate Turo credit, the Citi offer should stack with that benefit.

Amex Offering Targeted Referral Bonuses Up to 45K Membership Rewards Points

American Express is targeting some cardholders with elevated referral bonuses of up to 45,000 Membership Rewards points. Amex referrals are especially flexible because you can often refer from one Amex card to a different eligible Amex card, so the person applying does not necessarily need to choose the same card you hold. If you have multiple Amex cards, check the referral offer on each one since the bonus can vary by card.
