Rove is a loyalty program designed to earn points on airfare and hotels without needing a credit card.
Rove functions as a shopping and travel portal, allowing you to earn miles on a variety of purchases, similar to the Capital One Shopping portal, Rakuten, and the Chase and Amex travel portals.
You can earn miles in several ways:
Another positive feature of the Rove system is that it allows you to earn loyalty points with your preferred hotel program while also earning Rove miles on the same stay.
You can toggle the “Loyalty Eligible Stays” button when searching for hotels to see which bookings qualify. You can also filter results by your specific hotel loyalty program.
Another highlight is that whether you pay in advance or at the hotel, the hotel charges your card, not Rove. This allows you to use whichever credit card gives you the highest multiplier on your purchase.

Rove Miles is offering a 20% transfer bonus to Scandinavian Airlines EuroBonus. The standard transfer ratio is 1:1, so with the bonus, you’ll receive 1,200 Scandinavian Airlines EuroBonus miles for every 1,000 Rove Miles transferred. Offer expires April 8, 2026.
Rove Miles is offering a 50% transfer bonus to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank. The standard transfer ratio is 1:1, so with the bonus, you’ll receive 1,500 Japan Airlines Mileage Bank miles for every 1,000 Rove Miles transferred. A minimum transfer of 2,000 miles is required. There are a variety of ways to redeem your miles with Rove. The program offers a solid collection of transfer partners, including some that are not part of any other credit card rewards program transfer list. As with most transferable points systems, we generally recommend transferring to partners to get the best value from your miles.
Rove also allows you to redeem miles directly through its travel portal. The hotel booking engine shows both the cash and points price when searching, along with how many miles you’ll earn on a cash booking and how many cents per point you’ll receive when booking an award stay. This makes it easy to determine the best deal right from the search page.
The airfare booking page isn’t quite as intuitive. You can earn miles on cash airfare bookings, but you must click through to the booking page to see how many miles you’ll earn. When searching flights, you’ll see both direct booking options and transfer booking options.
While this is an interesting feature, the transfer booking options are not always comprehensive. We liken it to an award consolidator site. It provides a helpful snapshot of what might be available, but we recommend running your own transfer partner searches directly on each airline’s website to get the most accurate picture of available awards.

Rove Miles is best suited for travelers who want to earn flexible travel rewards without relying on a specific credit card, hotel, or airline loyalty program. Launched in 2025, the platform allows users to earn miles through hotel bookings, flight purchases, and an online shopping portal. You can then redeem those miles for travel or transfer them to partner airline and hotel programs.
The program is ideal for beginners, younger travelers, or anyone who doesn’t qualify for premium travel credit cards but still wants access to transferable points. Because Rove Miles can be earned through everyday spending and travel bookings, it provides an accessible entry point into the points-and-miles ecosystem without the complexity of managing multiple cards or loyalty programs.
That said, Rove is still a new program with a shorter track record than established systems like Chase or Amex. The platform works best as a supplement to other rewards strategies rather than a primary loyalty currency. But for travelers looking for a simple way to turn everyday purchases and travel bookings into flexible miles, Rove Miles offers a modern and approachable option.
Rove does not have its own elite status program like other standalone points programs such as Bilt. It does, however, allow you to earn elite status points with hotels when booking through Rove.
Search for and book a “Loyalty Eligible” hotel, and you’ll be able to enter your loyalty number and earn elite status points on your stay.
Rove is not tied to a specific credit card or bank, and there is no fee for joining or using Rove, so there is no need to ever cancel your account.
