Chase and United are targeting some cardholders with bonus spending offers running from June through August. The offers vary significantly by account. We've seen offers including 1,000 bonus miles for spending $500 per month, plus an additional 1,500 miles for meeting the requirement all three months; 1,500 bonus miles for making 10 purchases and spending $1,500 per month; and 4,000 bonus miles (plus 450 PQP in some cases) for meeting higher spending thresholds. Update: Rakuten has once again increased its bonus on the Chase Freedom Unlimited to $90 (or 9,000 Bilt points). These elevated bonuses typically only last a day or two before returning to their normal level. For this card, the normal level is usually $25/2,500 points.

Rakuten is offering a $90 bonus (or 9,000 Bilt points if you've selected Bilt as your earning preference) when applying for the Chase Freedom Unlimited as a new Chase customer. This stacks with the card's current welcome offer of 20,000 Ultimate Rewards points, creating a solid overall package for a no-annual-fee card. The Freedom Unlimited pairs especially well with a Sapphire card, allowing you to combine rewards and transfer points to Chase's travel partners. If you have Rakuten set to earn Amex Membership Rewards, you will not see this offer. Your Rakuten account must be set to earn cash back or Bilt points.

Amex Membership Rewards is offering a 25% transfer bonus to Air France–KLM Flying Blue. The standard transfer ratio is 1:1, so with the bonus, you’ll receive 1,250 Flying Blue miles for every 1,000 Amex Membership Rewards points transferred. Offer expires June 30, 2026.

Rove Miles is offering a 50% transfer bonus to Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles. The standard transfer ratio is 1:1, so with the bonus, you’ll receive 1,500 Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles miles for every 1,000 Rove Miles transferred. Offer expires June 30, 2026. Please note that the Bonus Miles awarded through this campaign are strictly Bonus Miles; no additional Status Miles will be credited.

United is offering a 25% bonus when transferring hotel points to MileagePlus through June 30, 2026. We generally don't recommend transferring between hotel and airline programs because of poor transfer ratios, but Marriott transfers can be interesting thanks to its partnership with United. Transfer 60,000 Marriott points and you'll receive 35,000 United miles after Marriott's standard 10,000-mile bonus and United's 25% transfer bonus. You must register for the promotion before transferring, and bonus miles may not post until January 2027, so this is best suited for travelers who don't need the miles immediately.
