Chase Sapphire Preferred Ending 10% Anniversary Bonus

Chase continues to nerf benefits on its cards, this time ending the 10% Anniversary Bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred. The bonus currently rewards cardholders with 10% back on their base spending each year, paid out on their account anniversary. The benefit will officially end on October 1, 2026. Any spending completed before then will still qualify for the bonus on your next anniversary payout.

American Airlines Citi AAdvantage Executive: 100k Bonus

The American Airlines Citi AAdvantage Executive card is now offering 100,000 points after spending $10,000 in 3 months. That’s up 25,000 miles over the previous offer of 75,000 miles, but it also requires an additional $2,500 in spending. This matches the highest offer we’ve seen on American Airlines’ top-tier card, which includes a complimentary Admirals Club membership.

Rove Adds Aeroplan + 25% Transfer Bonus

Rove has added Air Canada Aeroplan as a new transfer partner and is launching the partnership with a 25% transfer bonus through June 6, 2026. The standard transfer ratio is 1:1, so with the bonus you’ll receive 1,250 Aeroplan points for every 1,000 Rove Miles transferred.

Bank of America Refunding Spirit Card Annual Fees (But Only After Calling)

With Spirit Airlines shutting down on May 2, the Free Spirit Travel More World Elite Mastercard has become effectively useless. Bank of America is reportedly refunding the card’s $79 annual fee, but you may need to call and escalate to a supervisor if initially denied. The good news is that many data points suggest refunds are being approved even for fees paid months ago. While we’d prefer Bank of America automatically refund cardholders, this is at least an option for anyone still holding the card.

IHG: 15% Off Awards at New and Updated Hotels

IHG is offering 15% off award stays at select new and recently updated properties. Booking and travel deadlines vary by property, with current cutoffs of August 31, September 30, and October 31, 2026. Notable options include new all-inclusive Holiday Inn Club Vacations in Mexico, Kimpton Era Midtown New York, several new London properties, and a beachfront voco in Nha Trang, Vietnam. If you hold an IHG free night certificate, this discount could bring some properties below the 40,000-point cap, making them eligible for redemption.
