Flying on Aeroméxico, its partners, or earning miles through one of its transferable points partners are the best ways to earn points.
Aeroméxico Rewards is a revenue–based system, so you earn points based on how much you spend on your ticket. Basic members earn 8 points per dollar spent on the base fare (excluding taxes and fees).
Elite members earn bonus points:
Aeromexico has strong transfer partners for top ups or full award redemptions. American Express is your best option as you can transfer at a 1:1.6 ratio, getting more for each point. Capital One and Citi both transfer at 1:1 ratios.
Aeroméxico is part of SkyTeam, so you can earn points when flying on any SkyTeam partner. Earnings vary by partner and booking class, and Aeroméxico publishes charts for each airline. You can review SkyTeam partner earning rates by clicking each airline on their partner page.
Aeroméxico also partners with several non-SkyTeam airlines. You can check those earning rates the same way by visiting their non-alliance partner page.
Redeeming points for airfare on Aeroméxico will give you the best value. You can redeem points for partner flights as well, but the process is more complicated than with other programs.

Aeroméxico has excellent regional coverage, and the program can be useful for anyone who wants access to SkyTeam partners like Delta, Air France, and KLM. It isn’t a top-tier program or one we recommend for beginners, but it’s worth considering if Latin America is a regular destination for you.
Aeroméxico uses both an award chart and dynamic pricing. There are sweet spots, but they aren’t guaranteed due to limited fixed-price availability. Depending on the route and timing, you may have to book awards at dynamic rates.

Can I transfer Delta SkyMiles to Aeroméxico?
You cannot transfer Delta SkyMiles to Aeroméxico. You can use Delta miles to book Aeroméxico flights through Delta, and you can book Delta flights with Aeroméxico points. Both airlines are part of SkyTeam, which allows reciprocal award booking but not point transfers.
Can I use my Delta status on Aeroméxico?
